Technical Consultant

Years of Experience: 3-5

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analyzing, coding, testing and implementing software solutions and preparing related technical documentation
• Responsible for setting up application server environment for software solution implementation
• Responsible for developing and programming in Java/J2EE application and interfaces to backend applications
• Responsible for leading and participating in technical workshops
• Responsible for participating or supporting in the phases of a system development life cycle
• Work with the project lead to help establish the technical design and layout the execution plan

Requirements:

• Must have technical knowledge in Java/ J2EE, JSP/ Servlet or Struts / JavaBeans
• Must be able to perform application programming or scripting and analysis tasks independently
• Good knowledge and experience in SQL and database: Oracle and MS SQL Server
• Knowledge and experience in either of the web or application servers: IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server
• Knowledge and experience in Unix environment and shell scripting
• Knowledge in internet standards and file transfer protocols
• Knowledge in SAP Crystal Reporting will be an advantage
• Degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline
• Good command in written and spoken English
• Min 3 years’ experience in vendor system development lifecycle environment
• Proactive and able to work independently on project implementation.
